This t-shirt is a collaged version of a photo of Brion Gysin and a Dreammachine. Brion was/is a huge inspiration. His cut-ups and his relationship with William Burroughs really influenced my artistic approach. I’ve made a couple Dreammachines over the years using poster board and turntables. I once visited a man in San Francisco who built beautiful custom made versions for sale…very cool..sitting in a darkened room, closed eyes, right up next to the spinning column, watching images spiral out from the lightshow in my head.
