This shirt has an illustration from the 1966 novel by Samuel R. Delany, Babel 17. A very cool representation of the poet Rydra Wong, the telepathic Chinese starship captain. The Babel 17 of the title is an alien language that reprograms the mind as you learn it..the linguist becomes compromised by the very act of understanding the language. So good!
